A newly built detached house in Fuengirola (Malaga), with a pool, air conditioning and electric underfloor heating in the bathrooms. The installation starts with 16 bifacial Trina Solar panels and Enphase IQ8HC microinverters, with an estimated payback period of around 5.6 years, and is designed to expand as real consumption grows and ahead of the future addition of an electric vehicle.

Our house is newly built and will have a pool, air conditioning and electric underfloor heating in the bathrooms, so we knew electricity consumption would be high. We decided to start with 16 panels and expand the installation as we see real consumption, especially since we'll be getting an electric vehicle soon.
There's a tree by the front of the house that shades part of the roof for a few hours a day. With Enphase microinverters, each panel works independently, minimising system losses from that partial shading.
